The Australian Government's AI policy moves from build to evidence over the next eighteen months. Each milestone requires an artefact, and a named owner standing behind it.

Back-capture: every pre-existing AI use case still unassessed carries a completed impact assessment by this date — a bounded sweep across the whole legacy estate.
